The San Antonio Figure Skating Club!
MISSION STATEMENT: The San Antonio Figure Skating Club is dedicated to promoting the sport of amateur figure skating, providing continual education and training opportunities for its members and instilling good sportsmanship. Dear Friends of the San Antonio Figure Skating Club, Mark, Anthony and I want to thank all of you at the rink there in San Antonio. From the very first visit to San Antonio, many of you were so helpful and friendly to us; making us feel extremely comfortable and at home there in SA. You all helped make the move to SAFSC so easy for Anthony. As his parents, we are exceedingly grateful that so many of you took him into the group and welcomed him like part of your family. It was such a blessing to know our son was content there, cared for, and happy. If Kerry wasn’t moving, we never even think of leaving our son’s “home” club in SA. However, Anthony needs a coach and so we have made arrangements for him to stay with his Aunt in Dallas. Thank you, Kerry for being such an amazing coach and friend. You went far beyond your duty. We could have never even imagined leaving our “baby” in someone else’s care, but you were so wonderful to take him into your house and your family. We can never thank you enough! Anthony immediately found friends with all you girls! Thank you for taking him into your group and accepting him into your circle. All you girls have been so kind and loving to him and we are grateful to have such good friends for our son. Thank you especially to Hailie, Mary and Leroy, Sarah and Le, Jasmine, Tiffers, Asell, Kayla’s family, Kathy, Janet, Eva, and abunch more of you who have been wonderful friends to Anthony! I also want to thank all those” moms” who have been so generous to help Anthony with transportation and helped Kerry with her schedule so Anthony could get to work and lessons, etc. Also, to Shelley and Jim Wisnowski for taking us into their home and giving us a place to stay; a home away from home! Thank you very, very, much! You are all very, very kind! And to the Club Board: Thank you for your patience and understanding of our unique situation and for being so giving and accommodating. We will sing your praises everywhere we go. San Antonio FSC is an amazing, caring club and we can never thank you enough for your care and love. We will always consider you all our skating family. God bless you all and keep in touch. Please, don’t forget us; we will not forget you!!!
